A collection of my favorite portraits :)
Nine chapters in what would become a yearly regenerative journey across the American West, spanning five years of landscapes, wildlife, and portraits of fellow adventurers.
I adopted the name after driving past Wyoming’s state sign with one of my closest friends who had recently moved there. Forever West is an ode to the open road and of not knowing what’s around the bend.
Jacob Jonas The Company focuses on creating dance for both a live audience and for the camera. While both mediums highlight the company’s highly physical, acrobatic performance style and narrative choreography, the company breaks new ground with extensive and focused use of film, photography and social media to increase its artistic footprint and reach out to new and younger audiences.

"Loving wild animals deeply shifts our perception, helping us feel the power and companionship of a non-human-centered perspective. This starts us on a journey towards connecting with an ever-expanding circle of life, leading us to make better conservation decisions.” - Susan B. Eirich, Ph.D., Executive Director of the Earthfire Institute.
It has been the greatest honor volunteering at Earthfire Institute. I love giving the animals a voice through my images and sharing their very special environment, a place where one can experience the profound connection between all life. The institute is a 40-acre wildlife sanctuary, nestled in the Yellowstone-to-Yukon wildlife corridor. It’s a loving home to wild animals that can never be released into the wild, and a refuge for reflecting—in their company—on how to create a truly sustainable world.

We recently welcomed a new studio intern - Olivia - to the team. Her mom owns a petting zoo on Highway 92, so we decided to bring a few animals into the studio and take their portraits!
